As a player
Springfield College, 2001 to 2004. Part of three straight national championship teams in 2001, 2002 and 2003. Named to the Molten Championship All-Tournament Team as a freshman, the same year he won Springfield's Freshman Male Team Athlete of the Year. He represented the Empire State Games Men's Open team from 2000 through 2013.
As a coach
Head coach of the Columbia High School girls varsity program. In 2025 he led Columbia to the Section 2 Class AA Championship and on to the New York State final four. A career physical educator with a B.S. in Physical Education from Springfield College, he holds IMPACT, Beach IMPACT and SafeSport certifications through USA Volleyball.
As a founder
He founded TeamLVC in 2004. Girls juniors followed in 2010, boys were added in 2016, and the club now fields eleven girls teams and four boys travel teams. More than twenty LVC boys have gone on to play NCAA volleyball since 2018.
As a professional
In 2020 LVC's men's program became a Founding Five member of the Volleyball League of America and earned Tier 1 status in its first season. Hosley captains the team, which won league championships in 2022 and 2023, and sits on the league's board.
