TeamLVC Level Descriptions

Black Level Teams

Our Black Teams represent the highest level of competition within the club. These athletes demonstrate advanced skills, strong volleyball IQ, and a commitment to competing at an elite level. Black Teams have the most demanding practice and tournament schedules, including extensive out-of-town travel and participation in highly competitive events. Many athletes on these teams aspire to play volleyball at the collegiate level. Black Teams will attend national-level competitions and are expected to maintain the highest level of commitment to training, tournaments, and team responsibilities.

Pink Level Teams

Our Pink Teams provide a competitive environment with a strong emphasis on skill development and athlete growth. These teams offer a balance of competition and development while maintaining a less extensive travel schedule than our Black Teams. Athletes on Pink Teams are committed to improving their skills, learning advanced team concepts, and competing against quality opponents throughout the season. These teams will travel regionally for tournaments, while still attending national qualifiers. Athletes are pursuing opportunities to continue playing volleyball at the next level.

White Level Teams

Our White Teams focus on building a strong foundation of volleyball fundamentals in a positive and supportive environment. These teams are designed for athletes who are continuing to develop their skills, game knowledge, and confidence on the court. Competition remains an important part of the experience, but the primary focus is player development and team growth. White teams will travel regionally and play in divisions that allow athletes to gain valuable competitive experience while maintaining a manageable schedule.

Blue Level Teams

Our Blue Level teams are designed for athletes who are building a strong foundation in volleyball. These teams focus on developing fundamental individual skills, learning team systems, and gaining valuable game experience in a positive, supportive environment. Players will compete primarily in local tournaments, allowing them to grow their confidence and love for the game while maintaining a lower travel commitment. The emphasis is on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and preparing athletes for future advancement within the club.

Practice Player

Practice Players are valuable members of the club and train alongside their assigned team throughout the season. Their primary role is to participate in practices and contribute to the team's development. Practice Players may be invited to attend tournaments when a rostered player at their position is unavailable. Tournament participation is not guaranteed and will depend on team needs throughout the season.
